Employment & Volunteering Opportunities

Winderong Farm offers employment opportunities to fulfil Working Holiday visa requirements.  Please Note: We don't have capacity to take on new workers until mid-2025 The Work: We mostly need support in our infrastructure team for general farm maintenance and development! On Friday mornings, we occasionally invite the broader community to come to Winderong to help out in the garden. Whether you’re new to growing food or have some experience, feel free to reach out!  You will be working closely with our crew doing a variety of things such as making compost, harvesting, weeding, prepping soil, and planting veggies. You are welcome to stay for lunch, and there’s a good chance you will leave with some of our harvest or some seedlings! For more information contact winderongfarm@gmail.com or DM us on social media.

Winderong wouldn’t be the same without the help of our resident volunteers. At any one time we have between 2 to 6 volunteers staying on the farm, helping out with the day-to-day running of the property. You can expect to be involved in various parts of the farm, including the veggie garden, animal care, cooking up creations in the kitchen with our produce, bush regeneration, and helping with our endless list of projects. We hope that everyone who comes and stays at Winderong is able to learn and grow with us.
